the long-awaited SHEINSIDE dress

If I could, I would never take this outfit off.  It's one of those outfits that really makes you feel like I'm wearing my soul on the outside of my body...

This is why I love fashion.  It's an art.

Thanks to the hubby for taking these photos, and I will be forever indebted to lil miss Sammi from the Soubrette Brunette for turning me on to the existence of this exquisite dress!  (I even styled it similarly to how its sister at Dolce and Gabbana walked down the runway:

Headscarf, casual wedge sandals, big earrings, and, of course, my D&G sunnies were a MUST.

For those who didn't catch this, THIS COLLECTION BY DOLCE & GABBANA TOTALLY STOLE MY HEART.  I am beyond excited to recreate as many of these looks as I can.

So many people who saw me that day smiled at this exclamation point of an outfit...makes me happy.  It really is like a snapshot of my crazy, possibly-ADD brain: there's a LOT going on, but it's mostly pleasant--if slightly odd--and not quite to the point of too much.  I love it--this dress in all of its billowing-curtain, medieval-knights-in-shining-armor glory.
