This dress makes me feel like some sort of amazon princess...it's a statement piece that doesn't overwhelm, it's easy and comfortable, and it's just a little bit of sexy without being overly so.
And it always seems to be the dress I pick to wear to shows. This dress has seen the Cirque du Soleil, Josh Groban (I think...), and now it escorted me to see Wicked in Milwaukee. Great show! I was obsessed with it in high school, and I was pleased to find out I still knew all the words!
I'd seen Wicked once before in Chicago, and this cast blew that one away!!! Amazing!!!
Elphaba – Jennifer Dinoia
(Had a voice like BUTTER. Well...very strong, resounding butter..?)
(Was so perky. SO. PERKY. And super ripped! I guess prancing all over the stage gives a girl some serious muscle definition.)
Fiyero – Billy Harringan Tighe
(Yum...and oh yeah, he can sing and dance, too.)

So here is the gorgeous gal I have to thank for this magnificent evening: EMILEE.
That picture is us at the Safehouse Bar and Restaurant. It's a Milwaukee (hidden) landmark. The entrance is secret, and the doorkeeper asks you for a password. If you don't know the password--BEWARE; you just might have to do something silly to prove you are a friend. The entire place is spy-themed: food, drinks, memorabilia covering the walls, secret passages and puzzles, etc. It's one of my favorite spots in Milwaukee! Find it, if you can...dun dun dunnnnnn... (hint-hint--GPS will take you there.)
Anyway, our dessert was something called "Bond's Bomb." It's mint ice cream covered with a hard chocolate shell. And there's a lit "fuse" in the top! How stinkin' cute is that?
