I finally got fed up with not gratifying my vintage needs in winter. I decided I'd rather freeze happily than be morose and only slightly chilled. So this little dress and cardi leaped from my closet, and my new petticoat decided to make its first appearance (out of sight...).
...except when I scandalously let it peek out for photos:
Naughty me. ;)
Anyway, absolutely everything I'm wearing is thrifted! Yay!
eco-responsibility + cuteness = WINNING
Anyway, I'm bravely putting up a picture of my profile. I hate my profile, but, hey,
flaws are what make us unique, right?
And I'll leave you with that thought and a quick candid shot of me (thanks a lot, mom) searching frantically for my keys (my fabulous coat hopefully making up for the rest of my un-fabulous-ness):
So long, dear readers, from your
friendly neighborhood scatter-brain!
Love you!
Such a sweet outfit, dear Caitlin!! I love the skirt, awesome colours and that coat is to-die-for !

Gasp! That skirt is one of the prettiest things I've ever seen. Also, I've been meaning to save up my pennies to buy a petticoat for my vintage dresses-I haven't been able to find one at any thrift stores. I think you have a lovely profile! It is very distinct and shows off your beauty. I don't even think I know what my profile looks like, haha. I may have to take a pic like that sometime!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a great look!! Head to toe perfection nad flawless..THat skirt and coat..in LOVE

love, love, love! you evoke a mature, sultry alice in wonderland, it is lovely and so charming! i am intensely envious of your lace petticoat, somehow, i need to incorporate one into my boring office wears.....

Wow! You're so thoughtful...what a cool image!
DeleteAlso: petticoats are awesome!!! but they itch like crazy if they touch your skin at all haha so just make sure your office work can handle all the fabulous tulle!! ;)
1. The skirt is amazing.
ReplyDelete2. There is nothing wrong with your profile. I see exactly what you see, I have a huge nose. It is REGAL, not a flaw. REGAL.
